Risk factors include age (after age 50), family history of colorectal cancer, chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, benign polyps, physical inactivity, and a diet high in fat. for 18 months. He was born in Changsha, Hunan, China, son of the late Shaowen Zhou and Shunqing Dai, and had lived most of his life in China where he was a medical doctor before moving to Shrewsbury in 1996.
