SHREWSBURY - Kegang Zhou, 68, of Shrewsbury, formerly of China, died Saturday, Jan. 19, in UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus after struggling with colorectal cancer colorectal cancer

Malignant tumour of the large intestine (colon) or rectum. Risk factors include age (after age 50), family history of colorectal cancer, chronic inflammatory bowel diseases, benign polyps, physical inactivity, and a diet high in fat.
 for 18 months.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Liming He of Shrewsbury; a son, Wayne Zhou of Baton Rouge Baton Rouge (băt`ən rzh) [Fr.,=red stick], city (1990 pop. 219,531), state capital and seat of East Baton Rouge parish, SE La. , La.; a daughter, Sili Zhou of Shrewsbury; a brother, Jianze Zhou of China; and five grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. Sometimes these may claim bequests given in a will to children, though in general they can make no such claim. 6 Co. 16. .

He was born in Changsha, Hunan, China, son of the late Shaowen Zhou and Shunqing Dai, and had lived most of his life in China where he was a medical doctor before moving to Shrewsbury in 1996.

He was a member of the Chinese Gospel Church in Worcester.

Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury, directed arrangements. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery Mountain View Cemetery the name used for many cemeteries including:
