Keeping the M230 recoiling.


Water is shortening the life of M230 machine gun recoil recoil /re·coil/ (re´koil) a quick pulling back.

When AVIM does the annual maintenance on the M230, they should replace all the O-rings and wiper rings. Over time both rings become brittle (jargon) brittle - Said of software that is functional but easily broken by changes in operating environment or configuration, or by any minor tweak to the software itself.
