Keeping scouting morally straight.Regarding "Emptying the Cradle of Liberty" by Hans Zeiger in your June 30th issue, I agree with Hans but he needed to clarify the statement, "Local parents must withdraw their children from their troops [in Philadelphia's Cradle of Liberty Boy Scout Council], and individuals who contribute to the council must immediately stop giving," especially where troops are concerned. [The Cradle of Liberty Council had decided to allow open homosexuals into the organization as leaders and members.] Recalcitrant and apostate councils (i.e., councils that cannot be purged) must be excised from the whole and stripped of their troops. Such troops, so long as they adhere to adhere to verb 1. follow, keep, maintain, respect, observe, be true, fulfil, obey, heed, keep to, abide by, be loyal, mind, be constant, be faithful 2. traditional values Traditional values refer to those beliefs, moral codes, and mores that are passed down from generation to generation within a culture, subculture or community. Since the late 1970s in the U.S. , should form up with newly created "TAV councils" (by "TAV" I mean "Traditional American Values"). Such councils in turn should link up with the national Boy Scouts of America Noun 1. Boy Scouts of America - a corporation that operates through a national council that charters local councils all over the United States; the purpose is character building and citizenship training organization. All non-apostate councils need to investigate and purge noncompliant troops, encouraging their members to join TAV troops newly created for that purpose. Any purged organization should not be allowed to use any of the Boy Scout logos, symbols, etc. Scoutmasters need to be encouraged to take a firm stand on behalf of the traditional rules, principles, and values of the BSA 1. BSA - Business Software Alliance. 2. BSA - Bidouilleurs Sans Argent. , all who refuse should be replaced. All patriots everywhere realize the need to purge, not merge. The BSA and its integrity must endure, even if the price is downsizing (1) Converting mainframe and mini-based systems to client/server LANs. (2) To reduce equipment and associated costs by switching to a less-expensive system. (jargon) downsizing . A physical body, when purged of toxins, parasites, and excess corpulence cor·pu·lence n. The condition of being excessively fat; obesity. , is not just lighter, but stronger. ALLAN WILBER, PH.D.
