Mary Lee (née Walsh) (February 14, 1821 – September 18, 1909) was an Irish-Australian suffragist and social reformer in South Australia. Mary Walsh was born in Ireland. Freeman (January 30). Wise words rendered with elegance and beauty. Would that all could read this work. I, too, have walked alongside those who work in hospice. I have given many speeches on hospice care, and taught many classes to health-care professionals of every type about hospice and their own responsibility to practice what Freeman reports A series of technical reports on data storage devices originally developed by Freeman Associates, Inc., Santa Barbara, CA (www.freemaninc.com). For more than two decades, they provided exhaustive detail about the disk and tape industry, including up-to-date data on technology, capacities, a physician from Scotland once said--"There are three things you need to practice good palliative care palliative care (paˑ·lē·ā·tiv kerˑ), n an approach to health care that is concerned primarily with attending to physical and emotional comfort rather : a pair of ears to listen with, a butt to sit on, and a mouth to keep shut." Sadly, this kind of care is still rare. Perhaps that will change. I hope and pray it will.
