Kadant Black Clawson celebrates 130th Anniversary. Kadant Black Clawson Inc., a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., was recently recognized for its 130 years in business by Ohio Governor Bob Taft and the Ohio House of Representatives Ohio has a bicameral legislature, the Ohio General Assembly, consisting a House of Representatives and Senate (the Ohio State Senate), based on its constitution of 1851.

The House of Representatives first met in Chillicothe on March 3 1803, under the later superseded constitution
. Letters of recognition were presented by Rep. Thomas A. Raga to Kadant Black Clawson President Peter J. Flynn. The ceremony took place at city council chambers in Mason, Ohio, where the business is based. In May 2002, the business moved its headquarters to Mason, Ohio, after nearly 100 years in Middletown. KBC will install a CH[R] pressure screen at a tissue operation in Plattsburgh, New York. The new screen will complement the mill's existing broke screening system. It features a unique semi-open rotor design that allows installation with fine slotted screens for maximum screening efficiency. The tissue operation will use the CH screen to recover useful fiber in the mill's broke system that operates at a capacity of 100 tons per day.

KBC received an order from Lee & Man Paper International Ltd., China, to supply paper recycling equipment for its new mill in Changsu near Shanghai. The equipment is part of a major expansion project that will double the mill's production. The project includes a new corrugating medium stock preparation system and a broke system.

It is part of the Glens Falls, New York, Metropolitan Statistical Area, and the Albany, New York Metropolitan Area. The population was 25,441 at the 2000 census. .

Kadant AES recently supplied and started operation of new DMS (1) (Document Management System) See document management.

 3010 Moisture Gauges for Machines Number 1 and 2 at Finch Pruyn, Glens Falls, New York Glens Falls is a city in Warren County, New York, United States. It is part of the Glens Falls, New York Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 14,354 at the 2000 census. The name is derived from the large waterfall in the Hudson River at the southern base of the city. .

Kadant AES is supplying two Model 2051 Showers with EMOIII oscillators to Voith Paper, Austell, Georgia, for use in a MeadWestvaco mill upgrade in Mahrt, Alabama.
