iVAST Inc. and Kaydara, Inc. today announced a joint effort to develop a suite of MPEG-4 multimedia authoring tools for Kaydara's award-winning FiLMBOX(R) application suite. The new authoring tools will enable content developers to create, manage, and export advanced interactive streami ng media content for broadband distribution.

As part of the agreement Kaydara will utilize the iVAST Studio(TM) software development kit to integrate MPEG-4 capability into its FiLMBOX product line. The resultant authoring tools will leverage Kaydara's significant experience in real-time 3D content and media authoring to provide a comprehensive solution for interactive content creation. This represents the first steps for Kaydara and iVAST in building solutions for the production of interactive content.
