. A miller cycle engine, it features a greater stroke/bore ratio compared with other engines in the market.

The 8MW engine has enhanced knocking resistant and combustion combustion, rapid chemical reaction of two or more substances with a characteristic liberation of heat and light; it is commonly called burning. The burning of a fuel (e.g., wood, coal, oil, or natural gas) in air is a familiar example of combustion.  and cycle efficiency. Special technology contributes to better cost-effectiveness, handling, and stable combustion. The engine covers an output range from 5-7.8MW. Cylinder cylinder, in mathematics, surface generated by a line moving parallel to a given fixed line and continually intersecting a given fixed curve called the directrix; each line of the family of lines forming the cylinder is called a ruling, or generator.  diameter is 30cm, and the engine is supplied in 12,14,16, and 18 cylinder arrangements.

Kawasaki is also upgrading its L20A gas turbon line-up, with low 150kW-20MW emission technology. Going forward, Kawasaki plans to start the sales of the 7.5MW powerplant in the first part of fiscal 2007.
