Kaufman leases 25,000 s/f.


The Kaufman Organization recently brokered a lease for 25,000 s/f at 519 Eighth Avenue. According to according to
prep.

 Steven Kaufman and Barbara Raskob of the Kaufman Organization, University Sports Publications, a sports program and yearbook publisher, signed a seven year lease, increasing the company's original holdings in the building by 21,000 square feet.

"They have expanded by bits and pieces," said Steven Kaufman, president of the Kaufman Organization. "They took all the vacant space and now we are 100% leased."

Davis Kahane of Helmsley-Spear, Inc represented the landlord in the transaction. The asking price for the space was $25 per square foot. University Sports Publications plans to use the space to expand their executive and sales offices to occupy the entire 10th and 25th floors.
