Kaufman's new-look space attracts four retail tenants.


The Kaufman Organization has recently spent $1.5 million refurbishing the lobby and facade of 519 Eighth Avenue, a move that has attracted 4 new retail tenants to the Fashion Center building. The asking rent for the space was $125 per square foot.

The new tenants are Amici Amici can refer to:
  • The plural of "amicus" ("friend") in the Latin language.
*Amicus curiae.
*"Amici Principis", another term for cohors amicorum.
 36, a restaurant that has taken over 4000 square feet; VitalDent dental care, which will occupy over 2600 square feet; Belazza salon, which has taken over 1700 square feet; and Digital C Lab, a photo center, which leased 1600 square feet.

Steven Kaufman and Barbara Raskob represented the Kaufman Organization in the deals, while Olmstead Properties Inc. represented Amici 36; Newmark represented Digital C Lab; New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 Space represented VitalDent, and PRD PRD

progressive retinal degeneration.
 Corp. represented Belazza.

519 Eighth Avenue was built in 1929 and features 300,000 square feet and 26 floors.

Building amenities include 24/7 building access, concierge, highspeed Internet, and on-site management and is 97 percent leased. Prime tenants include the Metropolitan Transit Authority, Bernard Chaus Inc., University Sports Publications, New York Elevator elevator, in machinery
