 access protection is a policy enforcement technology built into the Windows Vista The current version of Windows for the desktop. It was released in late 2006 for businesses and early 2007 for consumers.

With Network Access Protection, network administrators can create customized health requirement policies to validate computer health before allowing network access or communication, automatically update compliant computers to ensure ongoing and sends it to the Kaspersky Lab Administration Server.
