Karta Technologies Awarded $8.6 Million to Support Air Force Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).SAN ANTONIO -- Karta Technologies, Inc. was awarded an $8.6 million task order under the Design and Engineering Support Program (DESP DESP Despacho (Order, Brazil) DESP Design Engineering Support Program (USAF contract) DESP Data Element Standardization Program DESP Deployment Environmental Surveillance Program II), to identify and solve Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS DMSMS Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages Center of Excellence ) problems for the Space and C3I C3I Command, Control, Communications & Intelligence (US DoD) C3I Computer Controlled Coil Ignition C3I Command, Control, and Communications Interoperability C3I Command Control Communications and Intelligence Combat Sustainment Group (84th CBSG CBSG Conservation Breeding Specialist Group CBSG Comic Book Store Guy (The Simpsons) ) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah and the Space System Sustainment Managers located at Peterson Field, Colorado. Karta will provide the Air Force with unique solutions to improve mission readiness by reducing aircraft downtime due to parts and increasing system availability of 18 of the 84th CBSG-managed systems. These critical systems include the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Military weather satellite controlled by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
