Karta will provide the Air Force with unique solutions to improve mission readiness by reducing aircraft downtime due to parts and increasing system availability of 18 of the 84th CBSG-managed systems. These critical systems include the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program Military weather satellite controlled by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  management process, Karta will also help the Air Force reduce the overall cost of ownership for these critical systems.

A key component of the Karta solution is the Supportability Management Assessment Report Tool (SMART), built by Resource Analysis Corporation. SMART is a fully scalable, turn-key analysis and obsolescence resolution application that will help automate several processes currently being manually performed by the 84th CBSG. SMART provides the means to import data from any desired source and to map, normalize, enrich and process that data for use.

"As a leader in the obsolescence management services market, Karta is excited to provide our comprehensive DMSMS capabilities to analyze fielded-system problems and deliver solutions to this suite of critical Air Force systems. This new project only strengthens Karta's capability to support the warfighter's mission," commented Bill Parker, Karta President and COO.
