Kansas Town Removes Ten Commandments After AU Lawsuit.

The City Commission of Manhattan, Kan., has voted 3-2 to remove a Ten Commandments Ten Commandments or Decalogue [Gr.,=ten words], in the Bible, the summary of divine law given by God to Moses on Mt. More than 350 town residents attended the April 27 meeting, many of whom urged the Commission to keep the Decalogue display. Another speaker, Lilly Sanders added, "Jesus' kingdom was not built by force. It was built by love."

Although the commission has removed the monument, the controversy is not completely over.
