The Tree of Life Award is a humanitarian award given by JNF in honor individuals who demonstrate outstanding community involvement, dedication to community service and devotion to peace and the security of human life.

The Tree of Life Award recognizes leaders for their accomplishments and achievements in industry, government and education.

"JNF is proud to honor these extraordinary individuals who are life-long leaders and role models in the community," says Rita H. Salfeld, president, JNF Greater New York Zone.

"Beyond his commitment to JNF, Mr. Kalikow is an active member of the real estate community and currently serves as Vice Chairman of Rent Stabilization Association, Director of the Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York, and as a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. He is active in many charities including U.J.A. Federation, Central Synagogue, Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York Hospital, American Health Foundation (cancer prevention), and Georgia Tech Alumni Association, to name a few.

The dinner co-chairs are Adam Hochfelder of Max Capital Management Corp. and Peter S. Kalikow Peter S. Kalikow (b. December 1, 1942) is the present chairman of the Grand Central Partnership[1]S. Kalikow, having been appointed by New York Governor and fellow Republican George Pataki in 2001. Kalikow was reappointed in 2006 to serve a second term.  of J.J. Kalokow & Co.

Proceeds form the Tree of Life Award dinner will benefit JNF's on going effort and dedication to environmental improvements in the land of Israel, particularly JNF's ;large-scale commitment to resolving Israel's growing water crisis.

Ticket process range from $1,000 per individual to a $25,000 host table.
