Kaiser Permanente Announces Larry Y. Wilson as new Senior Vice President for Strategic Planning and Consulting.

PASADENA, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--Jan. 17, 2002

Kaiser Permanente announced today that Larry Y. Wilson, a seasoned health care leader, has joined Kaiser Foundation Hospital and Health Plan (KFH/HP) as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Consulting for the California Division, effective immediately. He will be responsible for leading the organization's innovation and strategy development, internal operations consulting, business and capital planning, management information and analysis, and knowledge management.

The announcement was made jointly by Irwin Goldstein, MD, associate medical director, physician manager of Operations, Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG SCPMG Southern California Permanente Medical Group ) and Dick Pettingill, president, California Division. "Larry Wilson's expertise will strengthen Kaiser Permanente's ability to deal effectively with the increasingly complex competitive forces in the California market," said Pettingill.
