Kadant Black Clawson (KBC) received a US$ 4.2 million contract from Guangdong Dongguan Huangchong Yinzhou Paper Co. Ltd, Guangdong Province, P. R. China, for a complete stock preparation system. The system includes a continuous Hydrapulper[R], Hydrapurge[TM] II-X de-trashing system, Liquid Cyclone[TM] cleaners, coarse screening loop, Float Purger[TM] stock cleaning system, UltraSorter[TM] reject processor, fractionating screens, cleaners, fine screening loop, Twin-Hydradisc[TM] refiners, clarifier and a complete spare parts package. The new stock preparation system will process old corrugated container (OCC) and supply the fiber for a new paper machine. The installation will increase the mill's capacity to produce corrugated medium and is scheduled for start-up in 2003.

The company has also received a contract from Wanlida Paper Co. Ltd., Guangdong Province, P. R. China, for a 600 metric tons/day AOCC and approach flow system. The AOCC system will feed a new paper machine, which the mill is installing to produce linerboard. The installation will provide increased capacity for the mill and is scheduled for start-up in 2003.

KBC received a US$ 2.8 million contract from Refreshing Pharmaceutical Industrial Co., Zhuhai, China for a 150 tons/day deinking line. The equipment will be installed in the company's new market pulp mill in Feicheng, Shandong, P. R. China.

In addition KBC was selected to fulfill an order tot Wanlida Paper Co. Ltd., Guangdong Province, P. R. China, for a 600 metric tons/day AOCC and approach flow system. The AOCC system will feed a new paper machine, which the mill is installing to produce linerboard. The installation will provide increased capacity for the mill and is scheduled for start-up in 2003.
