Doug Doyle Brings Proven Growth Experience to Help Kabira Execute on Market Opportunity for High Performance, Low Cost Transaction Systems

SAN MATEO, Calif. -- Kabira Technologies Inc., a leader in high performance transaction processing software for global enterprises, today announced the appointment of Doug Doyle as vice president of worldwide marketing. With 19 years experience serving in senior marketing positions at high technology companies, Doyle will drive Kabira's corporate and product marketing initiatives to aggressively expand Kabira's presence in the financial services, telecommunications, and on-line exchange industries.

The addition of Doyle rounds out Kabira's management team following other key appointments, including Bradley Rode as COO, Eric Graber as VP of global sales, Mark Phillips as CTO and Sanjay Saini as VP of global customer services. These executive appointments are part of Kabira's new strategy to align its unique strengths in high volume transaction processing software and the rapidly accelerating needs of real-time, always-on business models. Doyle's appointment completes a team building process coupled with an intensive product development effort that is expected to enable Kabira to address the dramatic rise in transaction volume and performance requirements in today's enterprises.

Doyle comes to Kabira from a lengthy tenure at ILOG, a leading provider of software components, where he was vice president of worldwide marketing. While at ILOG, Doyle's team delivered new product initiatives, corporate rebranding, Web PR and other programs that significantly increased ILOG's in-bound lead flow, revenue and market share. Prior to ILOG, Doyle served as vice president of product marketing at Bigvine. Doyle has also held senior marketing and management positions at E*TRADE, where he spearheaded retail and Internet marketing initiatives. Doyle also led award-winning marketing programs for the education and multimedia markets at Apple Computer.

Doyle holds an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
