KVH Maintaining Focus on Superior Product, Prices, and Service in Mobile Satellite TV Market Despite Harassing Claims.


MIDDLETOWN, R.I. -- KVH KVH - Keith Van Horn (basketball player) Industries, Inc., (Nasdaq: KVHI) today acknowledged the filing of a patent infringement lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota by Electronic Controlled Systems, Inc., d/b/a King Controls.

The suit is related litigation filed by the same plaintiff against KVH in the same court in May 2005. The patent asserted in this suit, which is also asserted in the prior suit, relates generally to a satellite dish system controlled to acquire a satellite signal.
