Organized in 1857, the Institute conducts various activities and programs to support the profession and enhance its public image, including periodically awarding the AIA (AIA AIA - Application Integration Architecture ) recently announced that KSS KSS Kearns-Sayre Syndrome KSS Komunistická Strana Slovenska (Slovak Communist Party, Slovakia) KSS Kelowna Secondary School (Kelowna, BC, Canada) KSS Kirby Super Star (SNES game) Architects has been awarded several prestigious honors, including the 2007 Architect of the Year and two design KSS' partner Allan Kehrt, FAIA FAIA Florida Association of Insurance Agents FAIA Food Additives and Ingredients Association (Kent, UK) FAIA Fellow, American Institute of Architects (honorary position) , was named Architect of the Year, while the firm received an Honor Award for its Center for Academic Success at Kean University in Union, N.J., and the Merit Award for its meta Metasequoia Viewing Structure at the University of Pennsylvania's Morris Arboretum in Chestnut Hill, PA. "It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by our peers for these projects," said Kehrt.
