KROGER FILES FOR $150 MILLION OF CONVERTIBLE NOTES

 CINCINNATI, Nov. 20 ~PRNewswire~ -- The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) said today it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for $150 million of Convertible Junior Subordinated Notes. Upon the effectiveness of the registration statement, the securities will be sold pursuant to the related prospectus through Goldman, Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc.
