REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2002

(Nasdaq:BVSN), the leading provider of enterprise business portal applications, today announced that KPMG Malaysia, one of the major business advisory and accounting firms in Malaysia, has launched an enterprise HR portal powered by BroadVision One-to-One(R) Portal(TM). KPMG's online HR portal, http://www.click2hr.com, is the first in a series of multi-phased BroadVision(R) enterprise portal launches by KPMG. With each new phase, KPMG will introduce additional portal functionality and increase value added to their clients.
"BroadVision has allowed KPMG to develop a portal quickly and provided the capability for KPMG to do self-maintenance and further updates to the site," said Dr. YK Chin, managing director, KPMG Consulting Malaysia. "KPMG has also taken advantage of BroadVision's self-service personalization features so users can select viewing preferences."
KPMG's enterprise portals are a gateway for clients to truly experience seamless knowledge sharing. With the lifting of the advertising ban by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) recently, KPMG can now leverage the Internet to reach out to its clients and use technology as an enabler to assist clients in their day-to-day operations and planning. The KPMG enterprise portal suite consists of a general web site, followed by a suite of solution specific member-only portals which KPMG clients can selectively sign-up for. The first in this suite of portals, just launched in Malaysia, is the KPMG HR portal.
The enterprise HR portal, powered by BroadVision, is specifically designed to be an all-inclusive point of contact for HR practitioners anytime and anywhere. Tools, information, and other HR-related functionalities are made available to assist HR professionals and anyone with HR responsibilities. Services and information include compensation and benefits tools, recruitment methodologies, a virtual HR assistant and updates on the latest HR tools in the market.
"BroadVision is excited to launch the first of many enterprise portals for KPMG Malaysia and help KPMG meet their local clients' specific needs," said Sanjay Gupta, senior vice president of marketing and alliances for BroadVision.
