KOSHER WINE FOR SEDER.

Byline: Larry Lipson Restaurant Critic

Although the majority of Passover dinners feature at least one bottle of the traditional sweet Concord grape wines, Seder tables increasingly are showing off premium wines from the great wine regions of the world.

Many of these kosher bottlings are specially labeled by producers who make regular versions of the same wines. In fact, some of the famous French champagne makers (Laurent-Perrier, Heidsieck-Monopole) and one major domestic sparkling wine producer (Korbel) can be found on local shelves.

The choices are immense, the prices of the widest possible range. Several small French chateaux are represented (La Plaisance de Lafitte Monteil, La Tonnelle, Lestage, Le Tertre, La France La France was a single that was released by Dutch popgroup BZN in 1986. It is about a man and woman who met and fell in love while in France. ) at better wine shops.
