KOREAN STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM HAS OPENINGS FOR HOST FAMILIES.


The Korean Study Abroad in Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  Project still has enrollment openings for this fall.

And the project needs Korean-American families to host students on weekends during the 15-week course.

Students would spend the entire weekend with families, whether at homes or family businesses, said Samuel Lee

. The group of Korean-American community members and business leaders formed three years ago following the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. The organization, a supporter of the project, has committed to finding host families.

If you're a student interested in the project or you want to volunteer as a host family, call the California State University, Northridge CSUN offers a variety of programs leading to bachelor's degrees in 61 fields and master's degrees in 42 fields. The university has over 150,000 alumni. It's also home to a summer musical theater/theater program known as TADW (TeenAge Drama Workshop) that leads teenagers through an , Office of Graduate Studies, Research and International Programs at (818) 677-2138; ask for Jennifer or Jill.
