KOR Companies announced that Aanand Sunderajan has been appointed as president of its retail division.
Prior to joining KOR Companies, Sunderajan served as an associate of development and leasing with Vornado Realty Trust Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO) is a New York based real estate investment trust. It is the inheritor of real estate formerly controlled by companies including Two Guys and Alexander's. . While there, he specializes in development, site acquisition and financial analyses of the company's shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into portfolio.
Sunderajan holds an M.S. in real estate development from Columbia University Columbia University, mainly in New York City; founded 1754 as King's College by grant of King George II; first college in New York City, fifth oldest in the United States; one of the eight Ivy League institutions. .
