KOLL leases up East Meadow building.The Reuben H. Donnelley Company has signed an 11,600 square-foot lease and Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman has signed a 37,000 square-foot expansion renewal at The Financial Center at 90 Merrick Avenue in East Meadow, New York East Meadow is a hamlet (and census-designated place or CDP) in Nassau County, Ny, Long Island, United States. Its name is derived from being the meadow of Hempstead Plains east of the Meadow Brook (originally a brook, now replaced by a parkway of the same name). . It was announced by Joseph A. Farkas, senior vice president and managing director of Koll's New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of office, managing and leasing agent for the building. Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, a law firm which occupies an entire floor in the building, expanded and renewed for a total of 37,000 square feet. Since taking over the management of the building, Koll has completed a Koll major renovation of the building's lobby and common areas of the multi-tenanted floors. "The continuing upgrading of 90 Merrick Avenue has ensured its position as one of Nassau County's most prestigious office buildings," Farkas said. The building is owned by The New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. Mutual Life Insurance Company. In addition, Koll, which maintains an office in Garden City as well as an on-site office at 90 Merrick Avenue, has leased 95,000 square feet in the property in the past 12 months. The primary tenant at 90 Merrick Road Merrick Road, named Merrick Boulevard inside New York City, is a road running from Jamaica, Queens, New York east through Merrick, New York to the line between Nassau and Suffolk Counties, where it becomes Montauk Highway. is Travelers Insurance Company. Other tenants are Medical Liability Mutual Insurance, MCI (1) (Media Control Interface) A high-level programming interface from Microsoft and IBM for controlling multimedia devices. It provides commands and functions to open, play and close the device.
