KODAK SUBSIDIARY SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT TO STUDY JOINT VENTURE IN CHINA

 ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to press inquiries, Eastman Kodak Company (NYSE: EK) confirmed today that its subsidiary, Kodak (Export Sales) Limited, of Hong Kong, has signed a letter of intent with Tianjin Photographic Materials Corporation of Tianjin, People's Republic of China, to cooperate in a feasibility study regarding x-ray film.
 The objective of the study is to assess the feasibility of a joint venture for the manufacture, finishing and distribution of black-and- white x-ray film. The feasibility study is expected to be completed in six months.
 No further details about the cooperative study were made available.
