KNOWLEDGELINK LAUNCHES DNA 5.0 FOR THE CE INDUSTRY.KnowledgeLINK has announced its technology licensing initiative for CE manufacturers, distributors and retailers. KnowledgeLINK has taken the core technology that powers its successful flagship web portal - www.getplugged.com - and, working with Hewlett-Packard developers, has created a product available immediately for licensing to manufacturers called DNA 5.0 (CE). DNA 5.0 enables corporations to leverage a new approach to "e Relationship Management," connecting customers, sales representatives, and channel partners in a proactive web environment. DNA 5.0 enables manufacturers to collaborate with channel partners to create: * Dynamic channel tiers * Manage extended selling/marketing teams * Build channel-smart operations DNA 5.0 is designed to help manufacturers increase demand-side productivity (increase channel efficiency and reduce costs) much like enterprise solutions such as SAP help manage the supply side and internal business processes. KnowledgeLINK's vision for creating new kinds of extended enterprises rests on its proprietary software, technology, and unique Distributed Network Applications (DNA) business model. These solutions enable any manufacturer to build new connections with customers and business partners, and restructure and optimize channel relationships. The KnowledgeLINK DNA business model provides an Internet infrastructure to aggregate consumer demand, intermediate e-commerce, and facilitate collaboration between a manufacturer and its distribution network. Through DNA, a manufacturer, its retailers, and its consumers are linked in an informative, service-oriented environment that allows the manufacturer to 1) control their most important asset -- their Brand; 2) specify how and where their product(s) may be sold; 3) direct customers to the retailer or other authorized distribution channel in their region; 4) facilitate transactions, fulfillment, and revenue sharing. No current extranet model can say the same. |
