 but the company will also introduce a new line line of kids' clothes with the Disney name but no use of character art.

Noncharacter children's clothing is a $7 billion-a-year market.

Kmart, based in Troy, Mich., has more than 2,100 stores nationwide.

Several European retailers have already joined Disney's direct-to-retail licensing, including Tesco, Sweden-based H&M and Nordic retailer Lindex.
