KLEEMAN NAMED PRODUCTION V.P. AT UNITED ARTISTS

 SANTA MONICA, Calif., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeff Kleeman has been named vice president-Production at United Artists Pictures, it was announced today by John Calley, UA president.
 "Jeff brings a great deal of valuable, relevant experience to our team as we move forward in building United Artists," Calley stated.
 Kleeman was previously vice president of Production at American Zoetrope, in charge of developing and producing film and television for Francis Ford Coppola and acting as associate producer on "Frankenstein."
 He previously worked as executive director of Development for Paramount Pictures where, among other positions, he also served as executive assistant to president of Production Gary Lucchesi. In addition, Kleeman worked for a Carolco Canadian financing venture and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where he curated exhibits on the history of Hollywood film.
 Earlier this year, Kleeman produced "Loco Motives," a play written and directed by Nicholas Meyer. He is a member of the board of directors of Independent Feature Project West and a member of the advisory board of Choreographer's Resource Center. He is a graduate of Yale University.
 United Artists is part of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., which is involved in the worldwide production and distribution of motion pictures and television programs.
