KL Group Announces the Release of JClass Chart 2.0; The Component Vendor of Choice by Java Developers and Java Development Environments Worldwide.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 1997--KL Group Inc., announced today the launch of JClass Chart 2.0., a 100% threadsafe JavaBean that enables developers to incorporate elegant charts and grids in their Java applets and applications. This release follows the successes of JClass Chart 1.0, acclaimed by Java developers and currently integrated as the preferred charting component in the industry's leading Java development environments including: Borland's JBuilder, SuperCede Inc.'s SuperCede, SunSoft's Java WorkShop, and Powersoft's PowerJ.

JClass Chart 2.0 can quickly create sophisticated business and scientific graphs that support flexible data sources and interactive features such as rotating, zooming, editing, and scaling. This release provides new support for Area, Hi/Lo/Open/Close, and Candle charts, as well as pie and bar charts.

With JClass Chart 2.0, developers can display their chart properties in an HTML file and also save their chart state as a series of HTML tags. This ability to load and save charts as HTML, combined with the fast new customizer for JDK 1.1 and 1.0.2, gives developers the convenience of working with JClass Chart as an independent design tool.
