The latter two victories were the third and sixth games in their streak. L.A. plays host to the New York Rangers on Thursday and then plays the Mighty Ducks in Anaheim on Saturday before the Olympic break. Calgary (14-29-11) update: The Flames are becoming a long shot to make the playoffs. They were eight points behind San Jose for the eighth and final postseason berth in the Western Conference going into Monday's action. They are 2-1-1 in their past four after losing four straight. |
