The Kings' goaltender situation has been a case of ``you're it'' between Mathieu Garon Mathieu Garon (born January 9, 1978 in Chandler, Quebec) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender with the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League.

He was drafted 44th by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.
 and Jason LaBarbera Jason LaBarbera (born January 18, 1980 in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada) is a professional ice hockey player who currently plays goalie for the National Hockey League's Los Angeles Kings. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. , who have alternated being the hot hand over the course of the season.

Early in the season it was LaBarbera who seemed to have nudged ahead of Garon in the eyes of Kings coach Andy Murray, but after LaBarbera missed some time to address a family issue Garon nudged ahead with his solid play.

Garon added 36 saves in the Kings' 3-1 win over Florida on Saturday afternoon and figures to get more playing time for the time being.

Not that Murray is ready to declare anyone his top goalie.

``We've got two No. 1 goalies and one is playing more than the other guy right now,'' Murray said.

The Kings are used to the drill.

``Right now (Garon's) got the hot hand and I assume we're going to ride it until he has a tough game,'' Kings forward Craig Conroy Craig Conroy (born September 4, 1971, in Potsdam, New York) is a professional ice hockey player who plays for the Calgary Flames. Playing career

On March 6th, 2007, in a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, a bra was thrown on the ice after his 2nd goal of the evening, his 2nd
 suffered a lower body injury in the first period of Saturday's game and did not return. Cowan will be evaluated today.
