Faceoff: 4 p.m.

TV/Radio: Channel 9; 1150-AM.

Kings (3-5-3) update: The Kings, coming off an encouraging 4-1 loss to Stanley Cup-champion Detroit on Thursday, have been competitive in every game. At the same time, they have only nine points in 11 games as they begin a five-game, East Coast road trip.

Lightning (2-7-2) update: Tampa Bay, 0-6-1 in its past seven games, is coming off a 4-3 loss to the Rangers on Friday. Coach Terry Crisp's job is believed to be in jeopardy.
