, a former Canoga Park resident who keeps posting great stories about people and organizations in the community.

Murphy wrote about an event that happened recently at New Academy Canoga Park Charter School.

Children went on stage to introduce themselves and address the audience on what their biggest challenges were. Read more about how the school tries to get kids comfortable with speaking in public, on page 4.

 who posted a story to the Reseda hub about students who helped create a "Christo-inspired" installation at the school.

With help from teachers, students wrapped tree trunks in turquoise-

colored cloth. The trees were displayed for four days. Read the story on page 4.
