KIDS EXPO ON TAP AT GOLDEN VALLEY.

Byline: Daily News

CANYON COUNTRY - The Santa Clarita Valley Child & Family Center will hold its second annual Kids Expo on Oct. 17 at the new Golden Valley High School.

Organizations and businesses that cater to children will host exhibits covering 20,000 square feet of the campus. The event was held last year at the nearby Santa Clarita Sports Complex, but moved to the high school where parking is plentiful.

Booths will represent programs such as sports, karate, dance, art and gymnastics. There also will be books and information on tutors, games, arts, crafts, reading and storytelling, music, sports and entertainment. Local children will perform dance, gymnastics and karate on stage.

Additional information about the event is available at www.kidsexposcv.com.

Proceeds from sponsorships will benefit the center, which provides counseling, education and support services for children and families in Santa Clarita. For information, call the center at (661) 255-6847, Ext. 3072.

IF YOU GO

The free Kids Expo, a fund-raiser for the Child & Family Center, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 17 at Golden Valley High School, 20501 Golden Valley Road, Canyon Country.
