KIDS/SNEAK PEEK : NOW, MORE WAYS TO GET `GOOSEBUMPS'.


The phenomenon of ``Goosebumps,'' the cottage industry cottage industry: see sweating system.  spinning wildly from the pages of R.L. Stine's best-selling children's books, continues to grow with a new line of audio books, a new regular book title and a second season of TV shows.

The scary ``Goosebumps'' series, aimed at kids 7 to 12, is the nation's best-selling line of books - children's or adult's - flying off shelves at a rate of 4 million copies per month. More than 130 million books are currently in print.

The latest title - Stine's 45th - is ``Ghost Camp Ghost Camp is the 45th novella in R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series. Synopsis

And if books and audio cassettes don't send shivers up your kids' spine, there's always the TV show. Second-season episodes of ``Goosebumps'' premiere on Fox at 10 a.m. Sept. 7, with a special hourlong episode of ``Attack of the Mutant,'' starring Adam West of the old ``Batman'' series.

`BSC' goes on-line: Speaking of popular books series, there is now a Web site for fans of Ann M. Martin's ``The Baby-sitters Club.''

The site - scholastic.com/babysittersclub - features six pages of facts about books and characters, fan club news, listings of ``BSC'' happenings and more.

Different drummers (and others): Recordings by the label Music for Little People, which specializes in multicultural music, will now be distributed by Kid Rhino, a division of Rhino Records.

Released this week under the agreement was ``Halloween Howls'' by Andrew Gold.

The Redway, Calif.-based Music for Little People has been around since 1986 and has released 65 albums by some diverse and acclaimed artists, including Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, Ladysmith Black Mambazo Ladysmith Black Mambazo (mämbäz`ō), choral group formed in 1965 in Ladysmith, South Africa, led by Joseph Shabalala. The group, which sings with a precise yet free-flowing phrasing, has consisted of 8 to 12 members. , Maria Muldaur and Buckwheat Zydeco.
