As the fall athletic seasons wind down, there are important matchups in several different sports this week.

Both matches begin at 2 p.m.

Highland and Littlerock are vying for top honors in Golden League girls' volleyball. Highland meets visiting Antelope Valley today and travels to Palmdale on Thursday. Littlerock hosts Palmdale today and travels to Quartz Hill on Thursday. All matches are at 5:30 p.m.

The Golden League cross country finals are scheduled for Wednesday at Littlerock at 4 p.m. Defending Desert Mountain League cross country champion Desert Christian looks to defend its crown Friday at the league finals at Trona tro·na
