VALENCIA - Fred R. Jones is the newly named vice president and chief financial officer of 3D Systems Corp. in Valencia, company officials announced Monday.

And a second key executive post was filled with the appointment of Robert M. Grace Jr. to the position of vice president, general counsel and secretary of the rapid-prototyping company.

Both take their jobs a year after an accounting discrepancy threatened the company's Nasdaq listing and forced an internal audit that resulted in a management shake-up.

Jones holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Missouri at Rolla and a master's in business administration from Stanford University.

Grace worked at Sealed Air Corp. for more than 22 years as general counsel, secretary and, more recently, special counsel.
