KEVLIN ANNOUNCES THE LICENSE OF MARTIN MARIETTA RADAR TECHNOLOGY.


WILMINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--February 13, 1995--Kevlin Corporation (Nasdaq NMS See NetWare Management System. : KVLM) today announced that it has signed a license agreement with Martin Marietta's Ocean Radar and Sensor Systems Division ("OR&SS") for the rights to the technical data and documentation for select radar systems designed and manufactured prior to 1980 by OR&SS, located in Syracuse N.Y.

The license initially assigns Individuals to whom property is, will, or may be transferred by conveyance, will, Descent and Distribution, or statute; assignees.

The term assigns is often found in deeds; for example, "heirs, administrators, and assigns to denote the assignable nature of
 Kevlin the rights to repair and maintain HIPAR HIPAR High-Power Acquisition Radar  radar systems. The agreement also provides for the future inclusion of over twenty additional systems under license, and for Martin Marietta Martin Marietta Corporation was founded in 1961 through the merger of The Martin Company and American-Marietta Corporation. The combined company became a leader in aggregates, cement, chemicals, aerospace, and electronics.  to continue to provide technical support to Kevlin as needed as needed prn. See prn order. . Martin Marietta will continue to receive fees based upon the success and volume of sales under the agreement. Kevlin made its initial payment at the signing.

Commenting, Arthur C. Williams, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kevlin Corporation, said, "This agreement gives us the opportunity to repair and provide on-going maintenance to end users of the OR&SS systems at several hundred radar installations worldwide. While Kevlin has completed several repair contracts of major sub-systems of radar to date, access to these technologies will allow Kevlin to service the total repair needs of the customer as well as provide on-going maintenance either on-site or in our existing repair depot, currently dedicated to the repair of large Air Traffic Control Radar components".

Williams continued, "Kevlin has been an important supplier to Martin Marietta OR&SS Division for several years. We look forward to this next step in our continuing relationship in the repair and maintenance business with Martin Marietta."
