KEVIN P. DOWD BECOMES PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF CHECKPOINT SYSTEMS, INC.
THOROFARE, N.J., Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Checkpoint Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: CHEK) today announced that Kevin P. Dowd has been named president and chief operating officer, effective immediately. A. E. Wolf, who continues as chairman of the board and chief executive officer, held the position of president until now. "As executive vice president, Kevin Dowd has played an integral role in the development and implementation of key corporate strategies, which have enabled Checkpoint to reposition itself in the loss prevention industry and achieve substantial growth in the past two years," said Mr. Wolf.
