KENTUCKY CHARTERS NEWLY FORMED KENTUCKY HOME TRUST COMPANY
LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Kentucky Home Trust Company

has been chartered to operate by the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions.
Kentucky Home Trust is part of Kentucky Home Capital Corporation, the financial services division of Kentucky Home Mutual Life Insurance Company of Louisville, Ky.
Kentucky Home Trust is only the second trust company in Kentucky that is not affiliated with a commercial bank, said James Baxter III, president and chief executive officer of Kentucky Home Capital Corporation.
Newly appointed officers of Kentucky Home Trust Company have nearly 45 years of trust management experience at Liberty National Bank & Trust Company of Louisville, Ky.
William G. Duncan Jr., chairman, was a 25-year employee at Liberty, where he was senior vice president and manager of the personal trust investment division.
Kentucky Home Trust Company's president, C. Barret Birnsteel, was at Liberty for 19 years as a senior vice president and trust officer.
Kentucky Home Trust Company specializes in customized personal trust services to individuals and charitable organizations. Those services include living, testamentary and charitable trusts and executor services.
Baxter said there is a need for a trust company that pays special attention to individual clients.
"We provide a high level of personal attention," he said. "For example, we report to each client monthly while most other trust companies report quarterly. And we will strictly limit the number of accounts managed by each officer."
Kentucky Home Trust joins Southeastern Financial Services, an investment management company which began operating last fall, as the second financial services company within Kentucky Home Capital Corporation.
"Kentucky Home Trust Company and Southeastern Financial Services are separate companies, but they complement each other as well because of increasingly complex tax laws and government regulations," said Baxter. "Clients will be better served by being able to choose from a wide variety of financial services under one umbrella."
