KENNAMETAL ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION

 LATROBE, Pa., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Kennametal Inc. (NYSE: KMT) today announced that effective Aug. 20, 1993, Henry L. Dykema resigned as vice president and chief financial officer of the company.
 James E. Morrison, who is currently treasurer, will also become acting chief financial officer until such time that a permanent successor has been chosen.
