Using wiki sites and blogs, anyone can contribute information about a current event. Also known as "collaborative citizen journalism" (CCJ), "grassroots media" and "personal publishing," the concept behind citizen journalism is that many concept and have become regular contributors of the site. They have posted stories, photos and blogs that touch on a variety of subjects including a local cemetery. Lisa Burks, an avid blogger at valleynews.com, blogs about Grand View Memorial Park in Glendale. The 121-year-old cemetery at 1341 Glenwood Road has been engulfed in controversy for some time and Burks has posted timely accounts of what has been happening there. In September, Burks broke the news on valleynews.com about a fire at the cemetery which was caused by incense incense, perfume diffused by the burning of aromatic gums or spices. Incense was used in ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome and is mentioned in the Old and the New Testaments. It is also found in the major religions of Asia. burned during a grave visit.
