 KDKA-TV REPORTER TO RECEIVE 1992 WOMEN IN COMMUNICATIONS AWARD
 PITTSBURGH, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Dave Crawley, the cadence- driven features reporter at KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, will have another honor to add to his collection when the Pittsburgh Chapter of Women In Communications, Inc. (WICI) presents him with the annual Printer's Devil Award on Thursday, April 9, at the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild in Pittsburgh, it was announced today.
 The recognition will be part of the 29th Matrix Competition Ceremony.
 The Printer's Devil Award honors excellence in journalism by a reporter in western Pennsylvania whose work best exemplifies the spirit of the area and is written with "a touch of wit."
 Crawley's "KD Country" feature has been a mainstay of KDKA's weeknight "Eyewitness News" since 1988. Prior to 1988 he was a news anchor/reporter for WMTV-TV in Madison, Wis.
 Among Crawley's other awards for feature reporting include a United Press International Award, the Wisconsin Broadcaster's Association Award, the Pennsylvania Associated Press Award and a Golden Quill Award for excellence in broadcast feature reporting in western Pennsylvania. In 1990, Crawley was nominated for an Emmy.
 He holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from Washington and Lee University and a master's degree in mass communications from Boston's Emerson College.
 Among his many community activities, Crawley is celebrity chairman of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation Walk-A-Thon in Pittsburgh.
