Broadcasting Co., Ltd. today announced its collaboration in setting up IP over digital broadcast, IP Network environment for digital broadcasting Digital broadcasting is the practice of using digital data rather than analogue waveforms to carry broadcasts over television channels or assigned radio frequency bands. It is becoming increasingly popular for television usage (especially satellite television) but is having a . IP over digital broadcast enables IP data transfer on digital broadcasting. Through this internet contents are easily distributed at the same time as broadcast programs. The application of the technology involves a 2 way system which enables the audience to look at the same website with the broadcasting personality from the live radio station, while the broadcasting personality surfs and explains about the things on the website. In addition, the audience could also introduce the same site to others using the viewer participant service program. Not only would this technology useful in works that require editing internet contents, but it can also be used for disaster warnings.
