KD sells Can Co. facility.


In a transaction valued at $4.1 million, Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates Inc. has arranged the sale of 48-02 25th Avenue in the Astoria Astoria (ăstôr`ēə).

1 Commercial, industrial, and residential section of NW Queens borough of New York City, SE N.Y.; settled in the 17th cent. as Hallet's Cove. It was renamed for John Jacob Astor in 1839.

Neil Dolgin, executive vice president of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, made the announcement.

Private developer, Anthony Roussos, acquired the property from Columbia Can Company, which is relocating to New Jersey after a recent merger. Jeffrey Unger of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction. "The property at 48-02 25th Avenue offers excellent potential for a user-developer and features a superb

location, with convenient access to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, Grand Central Parkway The Grand Central Parkway is a parkway that stretches from the Triborough Bridge in New York City to Nassau County on Long Island. At the Queens-Nassau border, it becomes the Northern State Parkway, which runs across the northern part of Long Island through Nassau County and into , Triboro Bridge and Midtown Tunnel
