KD's Manhattan beachhead.


In a transaction valued at $4.4 million, Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates Inc. has arranged the sale of 228 Avenue B in East Side Manhattan's "Alphabet alphabet [Gr. alpha-beta, like Eng. ABC], system of writing, theoretically having a one-for-one relation between character (or letter) and phoneme (see phonetics). With this sale, Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates significantly expands its reach and establishes a beachhead beach·head

The six-story building at 228 Avenue B was purchased from Stevens Equities after a three-month hold period by the seller.

Peter Iucciolino and Howard Darsi of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates arranged the sale on behalf of both the new owner and the seller.

Mr. Darsi said, "Kalmon Dolgin is a powerhouse A fourth-generation language from Cognos that was introduced in the late 1970s for midrange computers. It supports both character-oriented, terminal-based applications as well as Windows clients. Applications developed under PowerHouse can be imported into Cognos' Axiant client/server environment.  in commercial and industrial real estate, and we're now setting our sights on mixed-use investment deals and the unlimited potential of the Manhattan market."
