KBR is licensing KRIBHCO its KBR PurifierTM ammonia technology as part of the revamp re·vamp tr.v. re·vamped, re·vamp·ing, re·vamps 1. To patch up or restore; renovate. 2. To revise or reconstruct (a manuscript, for example). 3. To vamp (a shoe) anew. n. of the plants, making this the first time the technology has been utilized in India. In addition to technology licensing, KBR is providing engineering services to increase the capacity of each ammonia plant to 1,890 metric tons per day (MTPD MTPD Metric Tons Per Day MTPD Matsushita Toshiba Picture Display MTPD Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption MTPD Move to Previous Data ) and to reduce overall energy consumption at the plants. Work on the project has begun.
