KBC receives orders.


Kadant Black Clawson Inc., Mason, Ohio , USA, has received an order from Kinfai International Industries Ltd., to supply three recycling systems for their new greenfield mill, Jianhui Paper Co. Ltd., Dongguan, P.R. of China. The three systems include an ONP ONP Open Network Provision(ing)
ONP Olympic National Park
ONP Old Newspapers (pulp and paper inustry)
ONP One Nation Party
ONP Operation Na Pali (gaming)
ONP One Night Process
 deinking system for producing undertop ply, a mixed waste system for producing filler, and an ONP system for producing back ply. The new equipment is part of phase one of the mill's three-phase construction plan. The mill will produce coated whiteboard with gray or white back ply to meet China's growing demand for these products. Capacity for phase one is set at 300,000 tons/yr with a total capacity of one million tons/yr when all three phases are complete. Installation and start up of the new equipment will be spring of 2004.

The new equipment will be part of an existing system and will replace virgin pulp with de-inked, recycled pulp in an effort to lower production costs without sacrificing product quality. The de-inking line will process mixed office wastepaper to produce white linerboard. Installation and start-up of the new equipment should complete in the fall of 2003.
