Kadant Black Clawson Inc., Mason, Ohio, USA, a subsidiary of Kadant Inc., received an order from Rock-Tenn Co., Sheldon Springs, Vermont, for the conversion of an existing furnish pulper to Kadant Black Clawson pulping technology. The project is part of the mill's plan to reduce power consumption in its operations. The project consists of upgrading an existing pulper with a Kadant Black Clawson Vokes[TM] rotor with Powr-Savr[TM] vanes. The Vokes rotor will reduce horsepower in the pulping operation.
