KASENNA SELECTS AEGISOFT CORPORATION'S DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE FOR DIGITAL ENCRYPTION.

Aegisoft Corporation, a provider of Digital Rights Management (DRM) and Tamper Resistance (TR) technologies and solutions, and Kasenna, a leading provider of infrastructure software for streaming media ventures, has entered into a strategic alliance that will integrate Aegisoft's MediaShield software with Kasenna's broadband media platform.

Under the terms of the alliance, Kasenna and Aegisoft will engage in product integration, joint marketing and sales activities to promote the secure delivery of streaming media content over the Internet, a key to commercializing streaming media. As a result of the product integration, the Kasenna software platform will be able to utilize Aegisoft's MediaShield Builder to encrypt digital content and establish usage rules, e.g., who is allowed to view and what they will be charged, prior to installation into Kasenna's content management system. The Kasenna platform then streams requested content and the MediaShield License Manager decrypts the content for viewing by the end user for playback.

This partnership provides digital content publishers and distributors the security to safely distribute their electronic content for the usage they determined. For the end user, the pairing of Kasenna's content management and delivery platform with Aegisoft's digital security technologies results in a seamless, secure, streaming media experience.
